Cristian DeMeo grew up in Gravesend, a predominantly Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn where Cristian’s family and friends have always supported his dreams. His dad, William DeMeo, set the spark and ignited the acting firecracker. One of Cristian’s best memories was being on set with his dad and thinking “It doesn't get better than this.”

“I watched my dad act in film and television all through my childhood. There was no question that I would pursue acting as well. I am blessed with the type of relationship with both of my parents that nurtured my interest and supported my goals.”
In 2005, Cristian was in a movie called Searching For Bobby D. Even though his role was small, Cristan said, “It still felt great getting my face out there.” Cristian’s dad William began to work on his own film called Back In The Day. Cristian had the opportunity to showcase his acting skills in one of the leading roles.

“I played the younger teenage version of my dad Anthony in the film. True to my ethnic makeup, a half Italian - half Puerto Rican, this young teenager growing up on the streets of Bensonhurst. Anthony had to endure racism, bullies, and an abusive unemployed alcoholic father. He loses his loving mom at an early age. Anthony upholds the morals his Mother taught him and is taken under the wing of a trainer, he becomes a champion boxer.”
Cristian shared the screen with acting veterans like Annabella Sciorra, Danny
Glover, and Alec Baldwin.

After Back In The Day was released Cristian stepped out of his comfort zone. He played Tommy Sick on the Off-Broadway show Downtown Race Riot. He acted alongside Emmy winner Chloe Sevigny and a bunch of other talented actors. “I was never a real fan of the theater prior to that, but I learned so much and I recommend every actor to do a little bit of theater. I believe It really makes you a better actor.”

Cristian will be in a feature in a film called The Families Feud, “It’s a project that I think people will get a good laugh at when it comes out. It is going to be released sometime in 2021.” He is also excited to be a regular in the series Gravesend Season 2. “We go back into production very shortly. I know that it is going to be a great shoot and I’m looking forward to it. It’s like being on set with family.”

Cristian’s goal this year is to be as diverse as possible. He wants to challenge himself in every way. Aside from acting he owns three companies. My Brooklyn Brand, which sells all types of Brooklyn clothing and Metanoia Attire, which sells all types of inspirational clothing. He also owns Determined Ink which is a screen printing company for all of those that desire to get custom t-shirts, hats, and accessories done.
