EARTHLY GODDESS

Eaysia describes herself as a Jane of all trades. At only 22 years old she has become a business owner, certified chef, musician, artist, and freelance model/photographer. She started from humble beginnings in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up, Eaysia was very curious and she was never afraid to ask questions. Friends and family describe her as tenacious, honest, enlightened, talented, loving, thoughtful, passionate, driven, optimistic, and empowered.

“My name is very important to me and it was given to me by my beautiful mother Camille. It means Earth Goddess. My mother is one of my biggest inspirations. In 2014, my mother unfortunately passed away. Known for her wonderful smile, harmonious laughter, funny stories, one of a kind cooking and sooo much more. She would spread love everywhere that she went and to everyone that she encountered. She always encouraged me to chase after my dreams and multiply them."

At the ripe age of fourteen, Eaysia came to the conclusion that she wanted to share her creative talents and passions with the world.

Eaysia went natural in 2015, she chopped her hair and began using products that many natural YouTubers were promoting. Such as, Shea Moisture and Cantu… but they all “SUCKED!” They made her hair dry, unmanageable, and brittle. This made her extremely frustrated, so she began to research healthier alternatives. Eaysia stumbled upon FLAXSEED GEL. She instantly started doing more research and decided to create her own. Before she knew it Earthly Goddess was born.

“I had tons of help from my lovely family. I began selling the gel in my high school, Benjamin Banneker Academy for Community Development. Everyone from student to staff was extremely supportive of me and began using my product! Many still do, 6 years later—which is a huge blessing.”

Eaysia always had an interest in skin and hair health, as well as teaching and empowering others. She describes Earthly Goddess as so much more than a business. She says it is a lifestyle!

“Charnele is one of the most talented women I know. I love her because she constantly teaches herself. She can literally do ANYTHING and never fails to amaze me. She’s always kept me grounded and constantly reminds me to always strive for excellence.”

"My grandmother Lorna is such an inspiration to me and I am so thankful to have someone who is so understanding and patient in my life. She always prays for me. She is someone who I can always trust and confide in."

"My great grandmother Dorcas is a woman who was so special in every way. She passed away in 2018 and lived a beautiful life. We shared such a unique bond. She would tell anyone that I was her favorite great grand and she meant that. As a child she would allow me to come into the kitchen to help her make traditional Caribbean cuisine. We would travel to Trinidad yearly every July to celebrate my birthday. I cherish all our special moments together."
