NO COINCIDENCE

No Coincidence is an Alternative / Pop-Punk band from Long Island, New York. Dan Rizzo, Jordan Clarke, Jake Messinetti, and Nick Rizzo formed the band in High School.

“We performed at our high school’s talent show and we’ve been playing together ever since.”

With Nick’s electric energy, Jordan’s creative ideas, Jake’s musical knowledge, and Dan’s ability to piece everything together, No Coincidence is the perfect mix. They strive to keep their music fresh by learning new techniques and evolving. The members of No Coincidence are heavily inspired by a variety of bands/artists ranging from All Time Low, Knuckle Puck, Blink 182, Modern Baseball, The Maine, Citizen, Foo Fighters, The Story So Far, and Hot Mulligan.

“We do everything by ourselves like recording/mixing as well as merch and artwork with help from our homies Tash and Leah. Something that is really important to us is our connection with our supporters who we feel are all apart of our extended family.”

In the summer of 2019, No Coincidence released their single Torn. It was the first time No Coincidence saw support from people all around the world. That motivated them to keep creating and performing.

"We love performing alongside other bands that share the same love and passion for music as we do. It’s also great getting to meet new people who enjoy our sound and become a new supporter of ours.”

In 2021, No Coincidence hopes to shoot their first music video. They also would like to collaborate with other musical artists and bands. “We’d also really love to work with this band called Young Culture. They’re from upstate New York and we think it’d be cool to do something with people from our state who are a little bigger than we are.”

No Coincidence just released a project called Onward Forever where they dropped a song every month of this year so if you missed out on that you can listen to the entire project which is available on all streaming platforms. No Coincidence is constantly working on new ideas and releasing new music so stay tuned to their social media, especially in the new year.

Advice For Artists

"If you have a specific idea or sound in mind then go for that and never compromise or conform for anybody else. As long as you’re fulfilled at the end of the day that is what’s most important. Take your time building your ideas and never try to rush the process, and never be afraid to reach out for help because that can get you far."
